Church Worker Scholarships

MVLC has a scholarship fund for prospective full time church workers intending to serve in an LC-MS ministry in some capacity.  The fund is supported with donations, gifts and bequests from congregation members and friends.

Mountain View records weekend worship services to a Vimeo account.  Viewers can access entire worship services or just the sermon.  Some special services are also recorded.  Archives go back several years and may be accessed from any device connected to the Internet.

 

 

Mountain View Lutheran Church is a member congregation of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod with headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.  The LC-MS website offers many resources for congregations. leadership and others interested in learning about the Synod and its work. MVLC is a member congregation of the Pacific Southwest District with headquarters in Irvine, California.  

 

 
The LFCU operated like a bank and as a service to members of the LC-MS.  Checking, savings, credit cards and loans are some of the services available.  Local ATM machines can be used for cash transactions.  Apply for membership at the LFCU website.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is a service organization of the LC-MS.  The website gives information about the organization and provides resources to local groups.  The organization contributes to many mission projects through its Mite Box program.  

 

 
CPH is the publishing arm of the LC-MS.  The website offers resources to congregations, families, schools, and individuals.  Items may be ordered online.
